Registered Nurse – Outpatient – Orthopedics

Overview

Part and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. We are looking for an RN with at least one year of experience. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

• Prepare preoperative packets for patients, provide education at clinic visits before surgery, and place preoperative orders
• Phone triage
• Assist with clinic flow orders, in‑office procedures such as injections and aspirations, and rooming patients
• Learn surgery scheduling process
• Complete FMLA/Short Term Disability paperwork
• Assist with prior authorizations for surgeries/procedures
• Collaborate with Pre‑Services department, PAT clinic, OR staff, and physicians

• Associate of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA required.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction may be required.
• Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
