Registered Nurse - Vascular Access Nurse

Overview

Part‑time, day shift: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 3 days per week with rotating days.

Referral eligible.

• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Placement of ultrasound‑guided IVs and PICCs.
• Assist with difficult access or blood draws.
• Monitor vascular access inventory and supplies.
• Document procedures accurately and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Collaborate with the charge and bedside nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.

• A team player with strong attention to detail and a calm, focused demeanor.
• Commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
• Previous vascular access nursing experience.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of vascular access experience required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.
• Candidates not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of acute‑care experience (subject to review).
