Registered Nurse Ambulatory Triage; RN - Pediatric Care - Fishers

Position Overview

The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Pediatric Care team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, prescription refill, referrals, prior authorizations, care coordination, some direct patient care including rooming patients, and other related tasks as needed.

Location:

Fishers, Indiana (north side, off 116th street).

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school accredited by National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) or possess three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• One year or more of nursing experience required.
• Pediatric experience highly preferred.
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
• Phone triage experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Accountable and self-directed.
• EPIC experience a plus.
