About Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO)

Founded in 1950, Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO), a proud partner of Ortho Alliance, is an independent orthopedic practice in central Indiana providing compassionate, expert care for bone, joint and muscle conditions. CIO offers comprehensive orthopedic services, including joint replacement and revision, podiatry, spine and interventional pain management, sports medicine and work-related injury care. Patients also have access to imaging, physical therapy, outpatient surgery and Walk-In Clinics for same-day orthopedic care.

With locations in Anderson, Fishers, Marion, Muncie and Zionsville, CIO provides convenient access to care across the region. The Director of PT has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff, volunteer and students utilized in the PT department. Also, he/she is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of all patient care programs, plans for providing care, performance improvement programs, polices and procedures, maintaining adequate qualified and competent personnel, adequate space and equipment to ensure a high degree of quality patient care.

The director will also ensure effective integration of the facility and operations plan that compliment the organization’s plans for continuous performance improvement and the delivery of quality patient care.

• Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
• Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
