Senior Analytical Chemist

The Senior Analytical Chemist is responsible for being part of a research and development team for new products and systems for roofing and commercial building envelopes.

What You'll Accomplish:

• Use various analytical software, techniques, and equipment to carry out research and analytical tasks independently, especially in spectroscopy, chromatography, and rheology areas.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate analytical equipment.
• Data Analysis and Reporting - Interpret complex scientific data, draw relevant conclusions, and effectively report and present technical results to internal teams.
• Quality and compliance: follow and author SOPs, investigate and resolve non-conformities.
• Provides training and guidance on analytical tests, methods, and instrumentation, as required across R&D and Operations.
• Work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Support 5S and LEAN activities in the lab.
• Multi-tasking and self-motivated.

What We're Looking For:

• Education:
  
  PhD Field of Study Preferred:
  Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field Required
  
  Work Experience:
  
  10+ years of analytical experience
• Travel Requirements: N/A
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
