Job Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Sales Manager to lead our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure smooth store operations. Your leadership will inspire a team of sales associates, oversee daily store functions, and implement strategies to maximize retail performance. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans to boost store performance.
• Conduct employee training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, POS systems, and product knowledge.
• Manage shifts to ensure optimal staffing levels and operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory control, assist in acquiring product and accurate pricing.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail/sales industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse sales team effectively.
• Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic computer practices.
• Experience with cashiering, cash handling, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately and efficiently; strong organizational skills are essential.
