As a Business Development Manager with Multifamily Construction experience, you will:
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new multifamily and mixed-use project opportunities in Central Indiana.
- Build, grow, and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, architects, brokers, and other key decision-makers in the multifamily market.
- Lead outreach efforts, including networking events, client meetings, and presentations to position the company as a preferred GC/CM partner.
- Collaborate closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop strategies, budgets, and proposals that align with client goals.
- Help shape winning proposals, interviews, and presentations for negotiated and design-assist opportunities.
- Maintain an active pulse on market trends, pipeline activity, competitor positioning, and upcoming multifamily developments.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans, including revenue and relationship targets for the multifamily sector.
- Coordinate with project managers and leadership to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat and referral work.
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions, ensuring consistent follow-up and reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent the firm professionally in the marketplace.
