Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR
Position Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate outgoing calls and manage incoming traffic including calls, messages, and chats with new and existing Verizon Wireless customers. The role will promote customer retention by leveraging appointments and will identify opportunities to sell retail products, goods, and/or services by leveraging direct selling tools. Preferred sales professionals will create long‑lasting relationships with TCC customers by providing an informed and complete wireless solution resulting in future residual business.
This aggressively commissioned position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding monthly goals, staying informed on the latest device updates, pricing and promotional tools, and leveraging internal and external training content to build knowledge.
- Handle many outgoing interactions daily with existing customers regarding account opportunities.
- Leverage various selling tools as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to save customers money or provide additional value through rate‑plan analysis.
- Identify opportunities to add new lines of service including smartphones, tablets, mobile internet, and more.
- Communicate effectively.
- Work independently and as a key member of the entire team.
- Maintain scheduled callbacks and follow‑ups.
- Stay informed using announcements, webinars, and training platforms.
- Document all calls, tasks, and appointments.
- Create a positive and memorable wireless experience that complements Verizon Wireless.
- Monitor and track daily productivity, sales performance, and opportunities.
- Participate in daily team huddles, attend training sessions and other ad‑hoc meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
3+ years of experience and success in a commissionable sales position preferred. Previous call center or wireless experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce CRM (or similar software).
Reasoning / Problem Solving Ability- Organized, self‑motivated, able to multi‑task.
- Good at working independently, thinking critically, and proposing quality ideas to improve department processes.

Must be able to sit up to 80% of the time and stand and/or walk over 20% of the time.
