The Assistant Sales Manager / Floor Manager supports the Sales Manager in leading a high-performing motorcycle sales team, maximizing dealership profitability, and delivering an exceptional Harley-Davidson customer experience.
This role oversees daily showroom operations, coaches sales associates, supports customers through the buying process, and drives sales performance within a fast-paced powersports dealership environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong sales leadership experience, motorcycle or powersports knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the Harley-Davidson lifestyle.
What You'll Do:Oversee daily showroom operations and maintain a high-energy, customer-focused sales environment
Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Associates (FIT Specialists) to achieve individual and dealership sales goals
Monitor sales performance, customer traffic, and follow-up activity to drive results
Conduct daily sales meetings, goal reviews, and product training
Support sales associates with customer interactions, negotiations, and closing deals
Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
Partner with leadership to execute sales strategies and improve processes
Track KPIs, inventory levels, aging units, and revenue opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional dealership experience
Train and onboard new FIT Specialists
Maintain expert knowledge of motorcycles, Motor Clothes/accessories, and financing options

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a sales setting
- Proven ability to close deals and negotiate effectively
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and follow-up
- Professional communication and presentation skill
- Availability to work weekends and dealership hours
- Motorcycle rider with an active endorsement
- Knowledge of financing and F&I processes
