Job Description SummaryRoad Mechanic – Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime. Work in remote locations and with an emphasis on safety.
- Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.
- Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
- Collaborate with a safety‑focused team.
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment such as Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations.
- Proficiency with hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Ability to use mechanic tools of trade when necessary.
- Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the job.
