Responsibilities
Provide labor-intensive functions for the City, including operating tools, equipment, and materials supplied by the City.
Work at the rear of City refuse collection trucks and perform related duties as assigned.
Maintain a valid Indiana Driver’s License and be able to pass a pre‑employment driving physical.
Communicate effectively both written and orally.
Physical DemandsAbility to lift, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or more.
Ability to perform straight pulling, pulling hand over hand, reaching above the shoulder, pushing, walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, and repeated bending.
Work in all types and extremes of weather, including walking, climbing stairs, and being outside in all seasons and weather conditions.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Must pass a pre‑employment physical.
