Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience)

The Opportunity:
Reporting to accounting leadership, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, deferred revenue accounting, reconciliations, payables, sales tax compliance, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking broad exposure and visibility within a stable and growing organization.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
- Prepare and post journal entries and support the month-end close process.
- Own deferred revenue accounting, including schedule maintenance, reconciliations, and monthly revenue recognition.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash activity, and vendor statements.
- Process accounts payable transactions, vendor setup, and weekly payments via check, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.
- Reconcile credit card activity, prepayments, and other cash transactions.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state sales and use tax requirements.
- Assist with annual audits and the preparation of supporting schedules.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with deferred revenue accounting and account reconciliations.
- ERP experience required;
Net Suite experience highly preferred. - Experience with Avalara and multi-state sales tax compliance preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Inventory accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
