About the Position
We are seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This opportunity begins on Feb 15, 2026, with a schedule of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Radiation Oncologist will manage a patient load of 20-25 on-treatment cases per day, utilizing SBRT, IMRT, and 3D radiation treatment in a community-based hospital setting. No brachytherapy is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a daily patient load of 20-25 individuals receiving radiation therapy
Perform and oversee SBRT, IMRT, and 3D radiation treatments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Provide patient education regarding treatment procedures and side effects
Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and standards
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Additional Information
Must hold an active Massachusetts medical license
Board certified and A boarded in Radiation Oncology required
DEA certification required
Prior experience in a community-based hospital preferred
