On behalf of St. Bernard’s High School, we are excited to announce an opening in our Science and Math Department. As a critical part of our talented staff, this passionate educator will contribute to the growth and advancement of our science and math offerings, helping to energize the STEM program s position will teach classes in science and math during the upcoming academic year.

• Inspire students to continue their scientific education with the goal of preparing them for collegiate-level studies
• Create engaging lesson plans to pique students' interest and involvement in scientific learning
• Engage frequently with lab experiments to encourage hands‑on and project-based learning in the science classroom
• Administer and provide constructive feedback on student work
• Work with the Science and Math Department Head to craft curriculum and extra‑curricular opportunities for students
• Foster and maintain a healthy, disciplined classroom setting
• Contribute positively to the inclusive and collaborative culture fostered nard’s High School

• Minimum Required
  
  Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in field, in education, or relevant coursework
  • Established success in the educational profession
• Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Master’s degree in field or in education
  • Five or more years’ teaching experience
  • Exhibit a caring and empathetic demeanor toward students, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive and nurturing classroom and school environment
  • A high level of integrity, honesty, and ethical behavior
  • The ability to foster a diverse and inclusive environment, welcoming to people from all cultural and socio‑economic backgrounds
  • A drive for academic excellence and a dedication to providing the best possible educational opportunities for all students
  • Successful completion of all background checks and MA fingerprinting
