We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Educators / Preschool Teachers to support a warm, nurturing preschool environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This is a great opportunity for a certified teacher or experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about supporting children from infancy through age 5.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with all aspects of classroom care, including diapering, daily routines, learning activities, and developmentally appropriate support. ResponsibilitiesChild Care & Classroom Support
- Provide a safe, caring, and developmentally appropriate environment for children from infant to 5 years old
- Engage children through play, learning activities, and daily routines
- Assist with personal care needs, including diapering and toileting support as needed
- Support positive behavior using respectful and consistent guidance techniques
- Help maintain a classroom that is organized, stimulating, and welcoming
- Assist with planning and implementing lesson plans alongside the Lead Teacher
- Participate actively in classroom activities with enthusiasm and creativity
- Observe children and support their developmental progress
- Encourage individualized learning, inclusion, and positive social interactions
- Support children’s emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development
- Work collaboratively with teachers and classroom staff
- Build positive relationships with families and caregivers
- Communicate professionally with team members and program leadership
- Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings
- Step into the Lead Teacher role when needed
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
- Follow all safety, confidentiality, and child protection policies
- Assist with center-wide responsibilities such as bus monitoring, light housekeeping, and supporting other classrooms as needed
- Complete required annual professional development and training hours
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment
