Duties and Responsibilities
  • Anatomy and Physiology I (BIOL 1200) explores the structure and function of the human organism on the cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels. The lab portion covers most of these topics and involves some “wet labs” (digestion and urinary systems) and may include some dissections (heart, kidney, and others).
  • Both courses require the set up and take down of lab exams (“practicals”) as well as grading of assigned lab activities (as determined by the instructor and in collaboration with other faculty teaching Anatomy and Physiology).

  • Ability to integrate appropriate technology and software into teaching.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team consisting of other professors teaching anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
  • Ability to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
