The Arc of Opportunity is seeking a compassionate and experienced Day Habilitation Nurse (RN or LPN) to temporarily join our team from June 16 to September 5, 2025, covering staff leave. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities through our Mass Health Day Habilitation Program, helping them reach their fullest potential in a person‑centered, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care and oversight to individuals attending our Day Habilitation Program.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure the health and safety of participants.
- Monitor and assess the health status of individuals and communicate any changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with Mass Health regulations.
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in Day Habilitation, developmental disabilities, or related field preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Mass Health regulations is a plus.
