Jefferson Health is our Academic Clinical Research Center partner for our vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania.
The Inventory Lead is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of medical cannabis plants from propagation to harvest, while maintaining each plant’s movements in the inventory management program. We are seeking a passionate, driven, detail‑oriented and collaborative Inventory Control Specialist to provide inventory management expertise and support the Company’s growth trajectory. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated experience, as he or she will be given significant responsibility over the inventory function of our business.
This position requires a high attention to detail and meticulous data capture. Other tasks may be assigned by Cultivation and Operations Management on an as‑needed basis.
- Effectively utilize the state‑mandated seed‑to‑sale software.
- Assist in ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date inventory is reflected on the state‑mandated seed‑to‑sale software by conducting frequent inventory assessments.
- Assist in analyzing inventory results and reporting activities on an ongoing basis.
- Green waste management and documentation.
- Immediately report any inventory discrepancies to the Cultivation Manager for further action.
- Assist with monthly inventory audits.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all state laws and Company policies, standards, values, and procedures.
- Participate in production activities and staff training.
- Perform any other tasks delegated by Cultivation and Operations Managers.
- Reports directly to the Cultivation Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Experience , Education and Skills
- Minimum of a high school degree required; college degree preferred.
- Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Data entry experience required.
- Experience in warehouse inventory control or related area helpful.
- Experience as Assistant Inventory Manager.
- Considerable exposure to standard operating procedures.
- Work history demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties.
- Cannabis experience and knowledge preferred.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs; proficiency in computer usage including MJ Freeway, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and more.
- Ability to focus with a high‑level attention to detail.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining calm composure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with absolute reliability and honesty, high level of integrity, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard practices.
- Exceptional team player with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multi‑generational environment.
- Must pass stringent background test requirements of the state you will be working in. Age requirements: MA 21, OH 21, and PA 18.
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ; authorized to work in the U.S.
