• Assist with routine preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Support upkeep of facilities in compliance with local, state, and national building codes.
• Monitor building equipment and troubleshoot basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Learn and navigate automated building or maintenance software systems.
• Respond to basic equipment failures and work with senior staff to restore equipment.
• Work from verbal instructions, simple sketches, and basic diagrams.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed under guidance.
• Interact professionally with staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and sometimes hectic environment.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and basic computerized maintenance systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document work and follow procedures.
• Willingness to learn to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, or instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in developing skills to troubleshoot building issues.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
• 0–2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related trades (internship or vocational training welcomed).
• No professional license required; willingness to learn HVAC, electrical, or plumbing basics encouraged.
