- Pay or shift range: $30 USD to $37 USD

We are a Non-Profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Center located in Central Massachusetts. Works under direction from the VP of Facilities;
Performs maintenance work on all facility systems and responds to customer needs as required.
Major responsibilities:
- Assist with routine preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Support upkeep of facilities in compliance with local, state, and national building codes.
- Monitor building equipment and report or help troubleshoot basic issues, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Learn and navigate automated building or maintenance software systems.
- Respond to basic equipment failures and work with senior staff to restore equipment to working condition.
- Work from verbal instructions, simple sketches, and basic diagrams.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed (with appropriate guidance).
- Interact professionally with staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment.
- Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and basic computerized maintenance systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document work and follow procedures.
- Willingness to learn to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, or instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in developing skills to troubleshoot building issues.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
- 0–2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related trades (internship or vocational training welcomed)
- No professional license required; willingness to learn HVAC, electrical, or plumbing basics encouraged.
