Machining Maintenance Position, 1st shift, $30 - $42/hr with growth potential

Salary: $30 - $42 per hour

This Direct Hire, Full-Time opportunity is with a precision manufacturing organization serving highly regulated industries. The facility maintains rigorous quality standards and operates under ISO 9001:2015 certification while supporting programs that require ITAR compliance.

An established, highly respected manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic to support the reliability and performance of advanced CNC machining and metal fabrication equipment. This position plays a critical role in keeping production running efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine repair.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong CNC repair experience and a solid understanding of machine controls, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.

• What You ll Do:
  Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and fabrication equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime
• Maintain and repair CNC mills and lathes
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine improvements
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine reliability
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Equipment

Experience:

• CNC Mills
• CNC Lathes
• Metal fabrication machinery
• Fanuc-controlled equipment (strongly preferred)

• Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery
• Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Highly Preferred:
• Experience working with Fanuc controls
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives, and industrial automation systems
• Computer proficiency for maintenance records and diagnostics
• Experience supporting precision machining operations
