Will provide oversight to Fitzgerald and Wiregrass Regional Career Academy Dual Enrollment High School students in Fitzgerald and Douglas by performing the following tasks: supervise students in a classroom/computer lab environment in the absence of an instructor; maintain order and cleanliness in the learning environment; enforce Wiregrass and respective high school policies; other duties as assigned; substitutes will not be responsible for teaching or preparing lesson plans.
Weekly schedule not to exceed 19 hrs/week:
Tues & Thurs 8:00 AM-12:00 PM at Wiregrass Coffee Campus and 7:00 AM-2:30 PM Fri at Fitzgerald High School.

Standard office equipment, Regular use of college owned or personal vehicle for performance of duties. - Working Conditions:
Category III – No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. This is a part-time position, therefore no overtime can be earned. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Any combination of training and experience which would enable the applicant to obtain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to supervise high school students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSIn addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following:
Prior experience in a secondary or post secondary environment is desirable.
Salary is $18.00/hr this is a part‑time position with no more than 19 hours per week. No promise of full‑time employment exists. No health nor flexible benefits will be provided. This position is funded in whole or in part by State/Local/Tuition funds.
BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONSPursuant to college policy, a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history records check and employment history reference checks will be performed for all candidates offered employment. Other checks such as Motor Vehicle Records may be conducted for any candidate receiving an offer, as well as internal candidates prior to being promoted or transferred into a position with the college. No additional tests are required for this position.
