Machinist Requirements- 2+ years of experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Steel-toe boots
- Proven experience as a Tool Room Machinist, Manual Machinist, Toolmaker, or Precision Machinist
- Strong background in tooling repair, tool fabrication, and precision machining
- Skilled in operating manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
- Ability to work independently from prints and specifications with minimal supervision
- Experience maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship
- CAD, CAM, and CNC machining experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to support production in a deadline‑driven environment
- Build, repair, modify, and maintain extrusion dies, calibration tooling, sizing tooling, fixtures, and custom machine components
- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and drill presses to produce high-quality parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Machine components to tight tolerances while ensuring quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and repair tooling to minimize production downtime
- Support manufacturing operations with quick turnaround on tooling repairs and modifications
- Inspect finished parts and verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient tool room environment
