Req# Nurse Manager Med​/Surg, ICU

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the hospital management team in planning, policy formulation, and decision making.
• Develop, coordinate, and promote patient care standards and practices in accordance with legal, ethical, professional, and organizational standards.
• Establish an environment that enhances quality and excellence.
• Evaluate the quality and cost‑effectiveness of staffing, staff retention, and staff development.
• Represent the hospital in community activities related to healthcare needs, education, and long‑range planning for future healthcare.
• Maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in PI activities.
• Assist in formulating the budget.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Current ACLS certification.

3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of critical care nursing.
