Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing field operations team.

Job Details

The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects throughout Northern Arizona, with a heavy focus on tenant improvements and occupied-space renovations. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who thrives in active environments where communication, coordination, quality control, and scheduling are critical. Projects typically range from $500K-$2M and include healthcare, commercial, and institutional renovations. Reporting directly to the Director of Field Operations, this individual will play a key role in maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and field personnel
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts
  • Oversee projects in occupied and operational environments with minimal disruption
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and project specifications
  • Conduct daily site walks, progress meetings, and subcontractor coordination
  • Manage inspection processes and ensure work passes required inspections
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineers
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Promote a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
Qualifications
  • Required: 5-10+ years of experience as a superintendent for a commercial general contractor
  • Required: Experience managing commercial tenant improvement and renovation projects
  • Required: Experience working in occupied spaces
  • Required: Strong inspection coordination and quality control experience
  • Required: Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $500K-$2M
  • Required: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Preferred: Healthcare construction experience
  • Preferred: OSHA certification
  • Preferred: Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management software
  • Preferred: Scheduling software experience
