Kinney Construction Services, Inc. (Kinney) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent. Headquartered in Flagstaff, our people have helped us stand out as northern Arizona’s premier construction firm.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain effective, professional relationships with project team members, including owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Oversee jobsite safety requirements, ensuring compliance and proactive reporting.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise field operations for a range of projects, from simple to complex.
  • Provide technical direction and ensure the overall quality of work meets high standards.
  • Set productivity goals, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain efficient construction schedules and coordinate with trade partners for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Contribute to project financial success.
Requirements:
  • Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to continuous growth and development within the industry.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, including new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
  • Knowledge of Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), including Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
  • Experience managing highly sensitive projects within educational, municipal, and healthcare settings is essential.
  • Familiarity with building codes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications.
  • Understanding of Lean Construction practices and the Last Planner System.
  • Proficiency in technology including Microsoft products, Bluebeam, Viewpoint V6, Procore, and Primavera.
