Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician — Make a Difference in Cardiac Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to join our esteemed medical team. This pivotal role involves providing advanced cardiac electrophysiology services within a high-volume hospital setting, supporting patients with complex heart rhythm disorders. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and possess expertise in ablations and electrophysiology procedures, this opportunity is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, catheter mapping, and device implantations.
- Manage heart rhythm disturbances with precision using Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system.
- Perform TEEs and moderate sedation independently to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Support hospital consults and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Document procedures thoroughly in Cerner EMR system, adhering to all clinical standards.
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology.
- Valid AZ medical license (or eligible for licensing).
- DEA registration in Arizona.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year specialized experience in electrophysiology, with documented proficiency in ablations, heart rhythm management, and moderate sedation.
- Ability to perform a minimum of 100 EP cases with an emphasis on ablations in the past 2 years.
- Comfortable operating Abbott Ensite-X mapping system and performing TEEs.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Skills:
- Experience performing EP procedures with moderate sedation independently.
- Prior familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support or related areas.
- Experience working in hospital and outpatient settings.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from accredited institution.
- Proven track record with at least one year of electrophysiology practice, including complex ablations.
- Arizona licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure swiftly.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including some holidays with enhanced pay rates.
- Flexibility to support ongoing contract needs, with credentialing expected to complete in approximately 30 days.
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $407.55, with overtime at 1.5x regular rate, and holiday pay at 1.5x.
