About the Role

We are looking for Process Engineers to join our engineering team supporting commercial manufacturing. Process Engineers play a critical role in ensuring stable, efficient, and scalable manufacturing operations. This includes hands-on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and leading technical projects that deliver measurable business impact.

This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Process Engineers are expected to take ownership of manufacturing performance, which may occasionally require flexibility outside of standard working hours to support a 7-day operation.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet performance targets by improving efficiency, reducing cost, and minimizing manufacturing loss by applying Lean manufacturing principles, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and variation.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, tracking progress, communicating status to stakeholders, and resolving obstacles.
  • Design, build, and/or provide technical input on fixtures, equipment, and tools to improve safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and implementing effective, timely solutions.
  • Conduct equipment and process validations, qualifications, and verifications in support of production and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive solutions and sustain performance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and respectful team environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong application of engineering fundamentals and statistical tools for process development, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering results against timelines and commitments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including influencing across functions
  • Demonstrated ability to identify critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply risk-based decision making
  • Strong technical communication skills, including documenting and presenting technical work
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Ability to travel up to ~5%
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement; a pplied experience using Lean, Six Sigma or other similar methodologies for process improvement
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or similar)
