Position: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse - $1,918 per week

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Three shifts per week (3x12) schedule

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with facility allowed to call off 6 times throughout 13-week assignment

• Every other weekend requirement

• Patient ratios typically 4:1 based on acuity

• 3 years of experience required (will screen for less experience)

• First-time travelers accepted

• No on-call or floating requirements

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (TNCC preferred)

• Active unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required

• Cerner charting system experience required

• Travel experience required

• Level I and II trauma center experience required

• Basic pediatric skills required

• Must be comfortable with general emergency department duties including adult/pediatric care

• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics

• Handle various emergency conditions including trauma, burns, cardiac events, and psychiatric emergencies

• RNs can wear any scrub color

• 24 hours of orientation required

• No travel pairs accepted in ER unit

• Must work 2 out of 3 holidays during assignment

This short-term acute care facility is a 268-bed teaching hospital and Level I trauma center that provides comprehensive emergency services. The emergency department features 36 rooms with a daily census of 145 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology. The facility maintains high standards for quality and patient safety, utilizing advanced charting systems and providing free parking for staff.
