Maintenance Technician

As part of a team, this position is responsible for overall maintenance of all facilities of The Guidance Center, Inc.

1. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections of the facilities

2. Performs basic maintenance repairs using knowledge of materials, methods, machines andtools involved for general repairs and maintenance of equipment and buildings.

3. Interacts with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance of the general facility

4. Assistin snow removal during winter months

5. Assistin planning for upcoming projects

6. Assistin the coordination for the installation and removal of equipment, office furniture, and fixtures

7. Responsible for documentation of department related paperwork

8. Assist with vehicle scheduling for service and repair

9. Maintain working knowledge of safe handling of maintenance related chemicals

10. Provide top quality service to internal and external customers

11. Complete all TGC required training

12. Adheres tocompany policy regarding appropriate conduct

13. Perform special projects as assigned

Required:

  High school diplomaor GED equivalent

  Two years of experience in maintenance or repair field

  Must have a valid driver license with no restrictions

  Must have the abilityto obtain Arizona Level 1
  
  Fingerprint Clearance Card

  Knowledge of construction tools

  Familiar with mechanical equipment

  Ability toperform in inclement weather
