Director Of Team Member And Vendor Licensing

Under the general direction of the General Counsel, the Director of Team Member and Vendor Licensing oversees the Enterprise-wide administration of team member and vendor licensing activities for the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE). This position is responsible for directing licensing operations, managing licensing records and tracking systems, coordinating licensing renewals, facilitating licensing applications, and supporting operational departments with licensing-related processes and requirements.

This position works closely with Human Resources regarding new hire licensing, employee licensing renewals, workforce licensing activities, and onboarding processes, as well as with Procurement regarding vendor licensing, supplier licensing requirements, and vendor application processing activities. This position also serves as the primary administrative liaison between NNGE and licensing agencies including the Navajo Nation Gaming Regulatory Office and Arizona Department of Gaming regarding licensing applications, renewals, records, and related administrative matters.

The Director of Team Member and Vendor Licensing is expected to demonstrate professionalism, accountability, exceptional customer service, operational leadership, organizational effectiveness, and a commitment to licensing administration excellence while supporting team members, departmental objectives, and Enterprise goals. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or related field and ten (10) years of combined regulation compliance experience with at least eight (8) of these years of experience within gaming regulation, plus five (5) years of progressive responsible experience involving a supervisory, lead, or management role required. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions.

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
