RN PRN State Arizona

As a Registered Nurse with the Department of Veterans' Services
- Flagstaff you will be responsible for providing all geriatric nursing care, treatment and services in a professional and prescribed manner. You will provide a variety of nursing care for infirm geriatric residents while overseeing and training subordinate staff in specific resident care. You will observe and report resident behavior and physical condition to include administering medical treatment and providing intervention according to the plan of care.

In addition; you will act as a lead with limited supervision on assignments. This position works under the supervision of a physician.

• Provide all geriatric nursing care, treatment and services in a professional and prescribed manner.
• Provide a variety of nursing care for infirm geriatric residents while overseeing and training subordinate staff in specific resident care.
• Observe and report resident behavior and physical condition, administer medical treatment, and provide intervention according to the plan of care.
• Act as a lead with limited supervision on assignments.
• Work under the supervision of a physician.

• AZ nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• COVID vaccine or documented declination.
• Hepatitis B vaccine or documented declination.
• Negative TB skin test.
• Skills checklist (to be provided).
