RN Pre Op/PACU

Flagstaff Bone & Joint Surgical Center is hiring a Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse. You will play a vital role in supporting the surgical team by ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and privacy. You will provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition. This includes assisting physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and utilizing sterile techniques as appropriate, and providing comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• Two years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
