Description:
Position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse on the night shift.
Requires 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
First-time travelers are accepted for consideration.
On-call requirements include up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 weekend call shifts with a 30-minute recall.
Weekend coverage is usually every 3rd weekend as needed.
Candidate must have experience in high-volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases.
Level I trauma experience is required, but highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in similar facilities will be considered.
The operating room has 11 rooms and handles a high volume of cases.
Team requires strong OR nurses who can perform in multiple specialties.
Floating to other areas may occur as needed based on job role and abilities.
Candidates must work 2 of the recognized holidays.
Charting is done using a specified electronic medical record system.
Interdisciplinary support is available in various services, including therapy and pharmacy.
The position involves adherence to quality and patient safety standards.
Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and be able to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with specific surgical procedures is essential for success in this role.
