Supervisor - Flagstaff Mall

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor at Vans, you will support the store’s leadership team and drive an exceptional customer experience. Your day will include:

• Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring progress against key performance indicators and helping individual associates reach their targets.
• Model selling behaviors and foster a consumer‑centric mindset through authentic customer interactions.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Ensure inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; however, demonstrated achievements and hands‑on experience are equally valued.
• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Skilled at coaching, motivating, and building high‑performing, diverse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible, and capable of working independently in a dynamic retail environment.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Physical ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods, and to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight.

• Hourly rate: $22.85 – $26.88 USD.
• Eligible for additional compensation awards such as annual incentive plans, sales incentives, or commission potential.
• This is a part‑time or limited‑time position (e.g., internship) and is not eligible for all benefits plans offered at VF Corporation. Some benefit options may be available; additional details will be provided upon hire.
