Bookmans Entertainment Exchange has been serving Arizona communities for nearly 50 years. Originally a used bookstore, Bookmans has expanded to include various forms of media such as books, video games, music and movies as well as musical instruments, housewares, and collectibles. We buy, sell, and trade with our customers to acquire the majority of our inventory, proudly following a sustainable business model that keeps items out of landfills and gives them new life.

Contributes to the regular and efficient circulation of children's books in the store through effective purchasing, pricing, and stocking of merchandise. Responsible for leading and promoting a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance. All job duties are performed with a customer-service mindset while working within company policy and procedures.

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times

• Sort and organize incoming merchandise

• Price incoming books

• Stock books to shelves

• Maintain pricing consistency

• Maintain alpha/presentation on shelves

• Maintain knowledge of current stock on hand

• Maintain a neat and organized sales floor area as well as back of house area

• Evaluate books (and other merchandise) for purchase at incoming counter

• Explain and negotiate (as necessary) deals with customers

• Maintain knowledge of current market trends

• Children's book knowledge, both classic and contemporary in nature

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

This position is Full-time (minimum of 32 hours per week) and Must have Open Availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and be able to work 5 shifts per week.
