Drive sales and profitability in the Meat Prepared Food and Freezer/ Cooler area through effective merchandising, pricing, signing, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting; review club financial reports to compare projected results with actuals.;
Enforce Fresh standards by evaluating packaging, in-stock levels, and quality; train and hold Meat Prepared Food and Freezer Cooler associates to sanitation and food-safety standards.;
Manage department performance by reviewing Fresh metrics, identifying gaps, and adjusting processes to close performance gaps.;
Oversee food safety standards, cold chain compliance, sanitation, recalls, and training to ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA and company policies.;
Plan budgets for sales expenses and wages, monitor staffing within guidelines, and coordinate openings/closings and merchandising opportunities with the management team.;
Plan production labor and execution for major events (holidays, seasonal demands) by adjusting schedules and plans based on traffic forecasts.;
Drive member growth by improving the member experience and building member relationships; coordinate with stakeholders and ensure training for staff.;
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, mentoring, and recognizing contributions; promote a culture of belonging and integrity..
