Account Manager – Service/Repair
Location:
Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott, AZ.
Responsible for securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work while building strong relationships with new and existing customers to achieve branch revenue goals.
Essential Job Functions- Exceed sales goals and quotas by leveraging company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
- Manage service accounts by visiting Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers within the assigned territory, developing ongoing relationships and understanding customer needs, including engagement with BOMA and other relevant groups.
- Develop capital plans for customers to address short‑ and long‑term building needs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products through training, factory equipment manuals, supplier information, and local elevator code requirements.
- Prepare repair job proposals by estimating labor and other costs using estimating software; obtain price estimates from suppliers and calculate manually when needed; review blueprints, survey equipment, and coordinate with operations personnel for approvals.
- Prepare service contract bids, including blueprint reviews and equipment surveys, and coordinate with operations personnel for approvals.
- Receive and respond to written and oral questions regarding quoted repairs and service contracts; perform follow‑up with customers on all proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of business‑to‑business sales experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive follow‑up skills.
- Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment.
- Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross‑functional colleagues.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Salesforce experience (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint drawings (preferred).
