Biologist

ETD, Inc.,a small-specialized firm,isseekinga motivated individual for mid-level position as Biologist to support our efforts in conducting all necessary fieldwork and report writing according to the Endangered Species Act. The ideal candidate would have field experience and good writing skills.

Markets include energy, water/wastewater, healthcare, telecom, transportation, housing, and community facilities.

• Manageand conductworkto meetenvironmental permitting and compliance requirements(e.g., ESA Section 7, MBTA, BGEPA, CWA Sections 401/404, stormwater, and related federal, state, and Tribal requirements).
• Conductdesktop research, GIS mapping, and spatial analyses;maintainfield and GIS data quality.
• Assist with Tribal consultationlogistics, public engagement, and stakeholder coordination (meeting prep, notices, comment tracking, meeting summaries).
• Assist project managers with trackingtasksand deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree in biology,ecology,or natural resources science.
• Knowledge of basic mapping software(ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps/Collector/Survey
  123),Google Earth Pro.
• Proficiency inMSOffice.
• Technical writing and data management.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to pass motor vehicle/background checks.
• Ability to hike in remote terrain.
