Under limited supervision performs security work of routine difficulty in the supervision, care and welfare of inmates detained in the Jail facility; performs related work as assigned.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN OUR DETENTION TEAM?- On-the-job training (OJT) prior to attending 320-hour in-house Detention Academy. After successful completion, they receive 13 hours of college credit
- Starting pay is $24.00 per hour
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain an Arizona driver's license upon appointment to the position and maintain it throughout employment. Must successfully pass a written examination, interview board and physical agility test. Must successfully complete background check, polygraph examination, medical examination and drug test prior to employment. Must not have a felony conviction within the last ten years or dishonorable discharge from the military. Must not have a misdemeanor conviction involving domestic violence within previous five years.
