Maintenance Technician

Roers Companies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our real estate portfolio by ensuring safe, well-maintained, and attractive properties. In this role, you will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and handle basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. You'll respond to resident requests, coordinate with vendors, and help maintain building systems, common areas, and grounds. Responsibilities

• Complete resident and property work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors for safety and curb appeal
• Document work performed and update maintenance records or work order systems
• Support unit turns, inspections, and readiness for new residents
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities
