About Your Role
As our Foster Care Licensing Specialist, you will meet with potential foster families to conduct home studies to license or certify them as foster or adoptive homes. In this role, you will support foster care or adoptive families by providing case management, knowledge of the foster care system, training, and crisis management as needed to care for children in their homes.
You will also receive supportive supervision and case review to aid in your professional growth.
Responsibilities
Conduct home studies to license or certify foster and adoptive homes
Provide ongoing case management and support to foster families
Offer training and guidance to ensure families can meet the needs of children placed in their care
Address crisis situations and provide interventions as necessary
Collaborate with the Clarvida team for case reviews and professional development
Conducts community outreach to build partnerships and recruit new families into the program.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
2+ years of experience in Child Welfare, Human Services, or with families
21 years of age or older
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, DCS Clearance, and First Aid/CPR Certification
Current Arizona State Driver's License with a good driving record for the past 3 years
Current personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registration
Compensation & Benefits
- $21.00/hr.
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000 that is divided into 60 and 90 days
