Forklift Operator

Position Summary

As a Forklift Operator at Nestlé Purina in Flagstaff, you will perform a variety of warehouse tasks including loading and unloading trucks, case picking products, and staging finished products for shipment.

• Stack unit loads by UPC throughout the warehouse.
• Operate all computer‑based warehouse transactions correctly.
• Troubleshoot load integrity and handling issues; repair damaged unit loads and follow the warehouse sanitation policy.
• Load or unload trailers and railcars, being aware of weight, size, UPC, location, and trailer type.
• Replenish storage locations with unit loads from floor storage and pre‑plan case pick to optimize product location, weight, and quantity.
• Case‑pick product according to customer specifications, layering guidelines, product location, and quantity.
• Hand wrap, label, and pre‑stage orders.
• Operate warehouse sweeper and warehouse scrubber.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months experience operating a forklift or heavy machinery in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, military, or related environment.

• Must be open to all shifts.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $28.99 an hour. Pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Nestlé offers performance‑based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, including a 401(k) with company match and healthcare coverage.
