Qualifications:

Must have one of the following:
Associate's Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or the equivalent; OR Valid classroom Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; OR An existing 120 Hour approval. Must meet all requirements established by the Michigan Department Of Human Services. Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check with MSP, a background check with LARA, and pass a TB Test.

Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent oral and written communication and presentational skills. Ability to cooperate successfully as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with others, including Work effectively, make decisions and problem solve collaboratively within a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in instructing and supervising children in classroom activities. Assist teacher in incorporating required activities into lesson plans that support children's development. Help teacher prepare activities that support lesson plans. Maintain open communication with parents. Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment. Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as training, workshops, and classes to meet required qualifications.

Model positive behavior. Perform all other related duties and documentation requirements as assigned.

Compensation: $16.55 / hour (Edu Staff) Posting Deadline:
