Responsibilities- Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team to produce manufactured products, organizing workflow to meet quality and productivity requirements.
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching, standardizing work, and verifying that lines are running safely and smoothly.
- Drive to exceed personal and team goals by upholding high performance standards through servant leadership.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management teams.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Safety and quality experience.
- Six Sigma:
Black or Green Belt certification. - Knowledge of constraint management principles.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic manufacturing environment with state-of-the-art technology and processes. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a facility committed to safety and quality.
Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Flat Rock, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
