As well as ourmain officein Warrington we also recruit for a varietyofroles based across the North West; we have 575 wastewater treatmentworksand 96 water treatment works in areas from Crewe in Cheshire to Carlisle in Cumbria.

As aLevel 3 Fleet Technician Apprentice ,you’lllearn how to:

• service and repair mechanical faults on our vehicles as well as fault diagnosis using the latest computer software packages
• follow our rigorous health and safety standards, keeping yourself and others safe
• work as part of a dedicated team focused on ensuring that our vehicles and plants are maintainedefficiently
• service and repair a wide range of vehicles and be able toidentifyany faults
• carry out routine maintenance, making sure our vehicles are always running in tip top condition

Your apprenticeship will last
42months, and successful apprentices will achievea Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships.

Your study will be on day release.

If youdo not live near, accommodation will be reimbursed/provided by United Utilities during this period, excluding weekends.

We’re looking for someone keen to gain hands‑on experience, develop practical skills, and achieve the standards needed to succeed in this role.

You’llneed to have:

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent, grades A-C or grades 9-4, which must include Maths, English and a Science or Technology subject.

A full UK drivinglicencewill be needed as soon as possible when inrole.
