Miles of Smiles Dentistry LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Flemington, NJ! Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for a diverse patient base
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings
- Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with practice protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Document accurate patient records and update medical/dental histories in the practice management system
- Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to develop individualized patient care plans
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in compliance with OSHA and state regulations
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care - Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
