Learning Disability Teacher Consultant
Alexandria Township School District is seeking a part-time knowledgeable, collaborative, and student-centered Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to join our Child Study Team for the school year. Requirements and qualifications include a valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with LDTC endorsement, knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, and eligibility determination, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and related service providers.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are also required.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive educational evaluations, participating in Child Study Team evaluations and eligibility meetings, developing and maintaining compliant evaluation reports and IEP documentation, serving as case manager for assigned students, collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and outside agencies to support student success, attending IEP meetings, and providing consultation regarding instructional programming and accommodations.
Effective August 24, 2026 - June 30, 2027. Salary range: $65,890- $99,150, pro-rated for part-time (as per the negotiated agreement).
