Special Education Teacher - Flemington

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• In-depth understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals
• Passion for fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each students unique needs
• Provide direct instructional support to students in a resource room or other settings as required
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to modify curriculum and instruction
• Advocate for student success, promoting a culture of inclusion and respect
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
