Minimum Education:

Required:

All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor#s Degree in Nursing. OR if Associates Degree or Diploma must be enrolled in BSN program and completed within 4 years of hire. Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

One year of acute care experience. Preferred:
At least one year of labor or level 2 nursery experience. License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS Certification. NRP certification is required within 6 months of hire or by completion of orientation. # All staff that care for patients in the PACU must complete ACLS within 1 year of hire. Preferred:
Certification in specialty. NCC EFM certification within 1 year of hire. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Fetal heart rate monitoring education #is required by completion of orientation to Labor and Delivery. Preferred:
